We've got a hot new hit from Monaye Love, "In The Club Place" on the Reo Deo label.

Monaye Love, from St. Paul, Minnesota is a seasoned professional. She’s been singing since she was 8 years old, taking advantage of every opportunity to develop her singing and songwriting skills.

Monaye recorded with the Gospel group, James Grear & Nu Friends (nominated for a Stella Award in 2008) and has opened for major artists: Montel Jordan, Talib Kweli, Young Dro, Sunny Valentine and Twista.

Monaye co-wrote her first single on the Reo Deo label, titled “Finally Home”, with Bacaseva James Hill. Monaye’s lyrics are based on her experience when her husband returned home from Iraq after serving in the Air National Guard. “Finally Home” has become an anthem for veterans and their families. Monaye has performed “Finally Home” across Minnesota for Tune It Up for the Troops, Wounded Warrior Project, Bands for the Brave and at various VFW fundraising events. Most notably, Monaye performed the song at Fort Snelling, Minnesota, for the 934th Air Force Reserve’s Annual Family Day for the Minnesota State Governor.
Monaye’s second single release on the Reo Deo label, “In the Club Place”, is not just a club song: it’s a driving funky dance track with all the right ingredients. The hook is unforgettable and the beat will keep you jumpin’! “In the Club Place” was co-written by Monaye, Robert James Smith and Pepé Willie.

Both “Finally Home” and “In the Club Place” were produced by Pepé Willie (94 East, Prince’s first producer, “Godfather of the Minneapolis Sound”) and mixed by Matt “Dr.” Fink (keyboardist of “The Revolution”)“In the Club Place” reflects the combined experience of two talented musicians and producers.
