Jay Copes cover 250x197New Jersey native Jay Copes has been creating what he calls “Love & Pain” music since 2011. Born and raised in Camden, Jay realized he could sing at a very young age but it didn’t become a passion that he pursued until he was 18 years old.

His journey in music started in elementary when he entered chorus and began playing multiple instruments; including the flute, drums and violin. During high school, sports was at the center of Jay’s life, and it wasn’t until college that he reverted his attention back to music. Between early morning studio sessions, and missing too many classes, Jay Copes chose his passion for music over college.

This new song, "Signs" runs around 88 bpms with good hit potential for R&B, Pop/Crossover & Grown Folks radio & the clubs.

By the way, Jay's song hit #1 on our 2/16/2020 Urban/Hip Hop, Indie Urban/Hip Hop & #9 on our Crossover charts.
