Joni - Lisa's Man

Here's a hot new Urban project by Joni, "Lisa's Man" on Ambassadors' Music Group. This is a new artist to Starfleet. She has very strong vocals that can be sultry at times on this song. The track runs around 100 bpm & has a smooth bass line that should work in the right clubs & mixshows around the world. I think this project has good potential to be a top 10 hit, all you've got to do is give it a spin & watch the pole dancers warm up your sits.

Joni's bio - JONI: The Artist, the Producer, the Entertainer, brings fresh diversity to the music scene. This classically trained pianist armed with an MPC mixes her inner city upbringing with skilled musicality to produce a sound of its own. The creamy texture of her voice softly melts into her melodic harmonies creating a buttery blend of musical bliss. Some may consider JONI’s lyrics to be controversial, but others agree she is just speaking the truth. For her they are pages in the storybook of her life. Though JONI lived far from a fairytale lifestyle, her undeniable talent and determination promises her a happy ending.


JONI is a born entertainer. In the early eighties, her mother was the lead singer of The Clockwise Band and continued singing up to three days before JONI was born. Her father, the band manager, also played in the rhythm section. JONI started playing the piano at age 4, started taking dance lessons at 8 and was playing the clarinet by 9 years old. In high school she sang in the school choir and on the school’s completion dance team which placed 6th in the nation. After high school she enrolled in the San Francisco DJ Academy where she mastered music production and engineering. In 2005, JONI moved to New York where she became a founding member of The Ambassadors production team.


JONI is currently in the studio concocting a lethal potion to be revealed in her up-and- coming solo debut album. You can also find her at your local dance studio perfecting her dance and choreography skills. Little known to this point, this indomitable powerhouse has been internally creating a musical beast which can no longer be contained. Stand back everyone, JONI has been unleashed!!!
